The B.O.C.E.K. Foundation was founded on a simple but powerful belief — that real change begins at home, and strong communities are built when we invest in our children. Rooted in East Baltimore, our organization is committed to creating safe, uplifting spaces where families can connect, celebrate, and grow together. Through mentorship, education, and community-driven events, we work to inspire the next generation with hope, opportunity, and purpose.

The B.O.C.E.K. Foundation began as a small neighborhood gathering — an annual Father’s Day Cookout — designed to celebrate fathers and bring families closer together. Over the past decade, that one event has blossomed into a full-fledged community movement dedicated to empowerment, education, and togetherness. Today, the Father’s Day Cookout stands as our cornerstone event, successfully held for 10 consecutive years without incident, symbolizing unity, pride, and resilience. Each year, it brings hundreds of families together to honor the role of fathers and strengthen the bonds that hold our neighborhoods together.

Our mission is to build and strengthen our community by empowering kids and families through education, mentorship, and shared experiences. We believe every child deserves access to positive influences, meaningful opportunities, and a safe environment to learn and grow.

We envision a thriving Baltimore community where every child feels valued, every family feels supported, and every neighborhood is a place of pride, safety, and opportunity.

Together, we are building pathways to success for our youth, strengthening families, and creating traditions that will last for generations.
